Minecraft

So, still catching up on many games I have missed, yes being a tad late on many of them.
Minecraft is one, so i bought it...

I have heard of it through many gaming sites and friends and such.
So i played about 3 sessions of 4 hours-ish each. I know it's still Beta and i know it's not meant to really be a game but rather a bunch of Legos for you to play with.
So I started the game, started to punch pretty much everything I saw, picked up some dirt, sand, wood, pretty flowers, Coal. I made a crafting table and tried to make different tools. I couldn't make much with it honestly and i didn't want to go on forums and didn't want to spoil anything.
After a bit, you know what was next, night came. A friend of mine simply told me: 'Oh just watch out at night time there are monsters and they aren't too friendly'. So the sun went down, i made a small place to crawl in and closed it up, felt bad... A tad claustrophobic yes, so made a small window. I could hear the noise of some cows nearby and well kinda zombie-ish growling, and waited.... and waited. Got tired of waiting for that sun to come back so I started to punch everything around, in the dark (I didn't had enough mats to make some lighting) So i've punched and punched trough dirt and rock... and fell down in a cave and then walked around to fall to my death.

So i restarted, walked around, started to build myself a lil better place to hide.
After a few hours in at walking around and building pretty things, got bored.
Maybe Minecraft is simply not for me.
