Well, that game wasn't too long. Now that I'm done with it, I went to look on the net about the ending I had. I saw on forums that there was about 22 endings? Well of course they are all similar but with small differences. So yes, your choices do influence the gameplay but up to a certain point. For example, they are some characters that cannot die before you reach a certain chapter. Or in one scene, a phone rings and a character asks you to pick up, I did nothing, wondering what that would change BUT another NPC picked it up for me. So it has pretty much the same outcome. There are plenty of those small situation where you feel that you have a choice and you can change the course of things.
*****ENDING SPOILERS ***********
But it seems like I had a not too shabby of an ending, Ethan is well and alive, he goes live in a new place with Shaun and Madison. Jayden flushed his drugs in the wc and goes to a talk show, Scott dies and lauren goes spit on his grave... I'm not sure if I could have saved Scott, without the cost of losing another character...
It shares a lot of similarities with his predecessor Indigo Prophecy. It had a bit of a ' Saw' feel (the movie) at some point with the letters, riddles, cameras and 'self-torture' shots... (I'm not a big fan of that really) Anyways, I did enjoy the game a lot and I'll keep an eye on Quantic dream's projects~!
