Pretty unhappy with Namco Bandai and their distributor

People who know me know that i'm a huge Ghibli fan and that I love Joe Hisaishi.
I also pretty much loved all of Studio Level-5 games.

When I first saw that 'Ni no kuni' had a collector edition (named the Wizard Edition) was out, I went and voted at the Ni no Starter site (the more votes, the more items they would add to the the WE). Then we were told that canadian pre-orders would happen a little later. So I have waited a tad, then when I wanted to pre-order it, it was sold out. I was pretty sad and order just the regular edition.

Later, the official Ni no kuni Facebook page said, to all canadians who missed the WE the 1st time, tomorrow you will be able to buy it again. So, I cancelled my regular edition with amazon and pre-order the WE with the Namco Bandai store. They charged directly my debit card.

This morning I get an email from Digital River, who is the distributor for Namco bandai in the states, saying: ' Sorry but we cancelled your order, here's a 20$ coupon for our stores'.

I am so pissed at the moment, there is no word for it. No only I have waited years for this game, they took my money (still did not refund me) and cancelled my order of the WE and think it's ok?

It's not like if they aren't able to make more copies...
I am waiting for my WE... I do not want their stupid coupon.
I truly hope that Namco Bandai will fix this and honor all the pre-orders.

  1. I swear, I hear so many people with pre-order/collector's horror stories. They really need to step it up since it's basically your most loyal fans you're pissing off.
