Games in between doc appointments: Candy Crush Saga and Gone home

I feel like all I'm doing lately is to travel between my apartment and the doctor's office and the hospital. I'm guessing the closer I am to give birth the more I'll see my doctor. While in the waiting room I was thinking that at the start of a pregnancy we should get a card, you know the ones like in coffee shops, buy 6 coffees and get the 7th free! Yes, it should  be like that.See your doctor 4 times and the 5th you get something for free! Like... dunno diapers? or pillows? or baby clothing?

That being said, I have less and less energy to do anything lately and not much time to play games. Don't worry games, I still love you and always will! But I have finally decided to play candy crush saga on my iPhone because tons of people were spamming my Facebook with it. It's cute and colorful but I really rarely can get into those phone/FB games.. I really don't like to play only for 10 minutes then having to pay to continue or wait 8 hours or bug friends... I do understand why people like this genre, but I don't...

Then some friend recommended 'Gone Home' on steam. It's pretty much an exploration game, it lasted 4 hours for me (I took my time to walk around and explore). You come back home and there is no one there, your dad, mom and sister are gone and you have no clue why. You search the house to know what happened when you were away (a full year).

It was short yes but was well done, I liked it. When I started playing I was curious, just wanted to know what happened to that family. Then I got a little scared, thanks to the lighting and ambiance which is awesome. You know, in a dark empty house during a thunderstorm, the last place you want to go is the basement... Great job there! And the more I explored, the more I was feeling for them, I was actually a little sad. I just wanted to hug them all! (Yes like all cats!).

Some people said that the game 'Stanley parable' game is similar (game play not the story) I will go and try the demo and see...
