Lookin into Steam specials: Lone Survivor

I'm always looking on Steam for games under 10$, not only because I'm broke, no no...
Because sometimes in that section you can find small gems! For a cheap price yes.

I just bought Lone Survivor last weekend under 5$.
I only started to play, it looks wacky and interesting.
I died already 5 times in the 1st 10 minutes because maybe I cannot read or maybe I'm miss-using some game object.

See you have those 'things' that look like zombies at some point and where I am at the start of the game, you must bypass one of them and you cannot hide. I did find that 'piece of rotten meat' and under it's description it says I can use it as a diversion for those zombie-looking mobs. Which I tried to use 5 times... Maybe it's the wrong item use at the wrong place? Maybe I didn't place it close enough? Maybe I had to turn off my flashlight? Maybe I should  use a totally different item? I'm not too sure, I'll keep playing when I have a few minutes.

I like weird creepy games : )

  1. Lone Survivor is alright. You'll kinda feel unfulfilled at the end of the first walkthrough because there's so much shit you can do differently that will take the story in different paths. But then again, you'll prolly not want to go back to it.

Sometimes you get stuck because of a dumb thing you didn't see.

Usually, to use the meat on the zombies, you just have to place it somewhere and, as you place it, go hide in a dark spot that is between the meat and the zombie.

That way, the zombie goes by you, and you can get out of your hiding spot and carry on.

    1. Yeah, I tried again and realised by myself that putting the rotten meat on the ground wasn't enough and that I had to hide as well. I like this game but it's not the 'game of the year'. I'm still not done with it but will finish it soonish. : )
