Being new parents and gaming?

So...
Yes I'm getting older and my friends whom I grew up with as well.
Everyone is getting careers, they are getting engaged, married and most already have kids or about to have some.I'm pretty much the last of the bunch not having any.

I look at a lot of couples I know, having a baby surely chopped their gaming time in half, or quarters...
It's the reality of having a baby, not much gaming time as it requires your full attention for the first few years.
That being said, I know some of them who are still gaming because they are 2 parents (mom and dad together).

Then I was thinking what about the single moms who are gamer...
That means pretty much, forget about your gaming time forever (until the kid(s) are old enough and leaves the family house). Within that time frame, gaming will have change, it's forever changing.

Don't get me wrong, I will put my child before gaming, in fact before anything else including myself. It's just, I guess, time for me to think about things differently.

So gaming and having a baby doable? I'm pretty sure it is, but it goes against my values. When that time will come, I'll pack my games and will fully give my attention to the one who deserves it.
