FF1 on Iphone

Finally after so many years of resistance against Apple... I gave in.
I bought the Iphone 4 mainly for work, as there was so many people telling me: 'Hey did you play this game on Iphone? Did you try this? Did you see how they did that for that App?'
And every time my answer was: 'No I'm sorry I don't have an Iphone'.
And seeing that commercial over and over saying: 'If you don't have an Iphone, well... You don't have an Iphone'. So there! Now I do.

I don't write on my blog as often as I should, but should start to do that more often now.
I downloaded Final fantasy 1 and angry bird so far on my phone, while still trying to slow down my obsession for Minecraft. Started with FF1.

You know sometimes you can remember things from years and years ago, well I forgot things about this game which makes it pleasant. The main characters had no name, so you have to name your party of 4. Not wanting to use existing Final fantasy characters and wanting to play now, my party members are named after me and my friends. Hey, as corny as it is adventuring should be like this yes? You and your friend leaving for treasures! Adventures! Epic Battles!?

Anyways, maybe it's only me but I find annoying the placement of the 'virtual thumbstick'. I was moving around the map and I had my hand over it and it was hiding important things I wanted to see on screen. Maybe I'm not doing it right? regardless I would have liked to have the option of the position for it (left lower corner OR right lower corner). I think this game would be horrendous to play for a lefty... And also the inconsistency within the menus. Cancel/Back, Accept/Next not always being on the same side made me clickety-click on things I didn't want to.

I find it also more comfy to play this on my Iphone more than on my DS or PSP.
Now I'll go play some Angry Birds, since I have heard so much of it, I need to try it and see why ppl love it so much : )
